About Us

About rehabstudents

We are physical therapy students who thought that other students like us deserve more when it comes to finding relevant information about our field.

First and foremost, we did not magically come up with all of the information you can find here on this site. We simply scoured (very hard in fact) the world wide web to find as much information as possible and put it all in one spot. We want to thank the APTA and AOTA for everything they do!

Before we jump into introductions we wanted to make a few things perfectly clear.

Rehabstudents is a free and independent resource. All partners, advertisers, and sponsors have no editorial input or oversight of us,content, or materials.

Currently, the site is graciously funded by our spouses’ salaries since we are unemployed PT students scrapping by on student loans. Rehabstudents is a for profit site. (Don’t judge! We are simply trying to pay back Uncle Sam.)

In regards to advertising, yes we do have advertisements on our site. Advertising is clearly marked as such with the title “advertisement” added when it is near content.

Don Kallail PT, DPT

Founder/Editor

The original creator and founder of this magically magical place that is rehabstudents.com. I received my BS in Kinesiology at Arizona State University. I graduated from Tennessee State University with my doctorate in physical therapy. When I am not at school or studying my hobbies include sheep herding, wrangling crocodiles, and adding to my collection of air sickness bags.

If you have a comment, question, or concern, I would be the one to talk to…unless you want to complain then send it to Darin, Matt, Chad, or Jenny.

Darin Payne, PT, DPT

Editor

Darin is from Cardston, Alberta, Canada. He completed his undergraduate work at Brigham Young University in Provo, UT. Currently he is living the dream in Nashville, TN where he recently graduated with his doctorate of physical therapy at Tennessee State University.

He is fortunate enough to be blessed with his wife and 2 kids. When he is not at school or work, he enjoys spending time with his family at home.

When he is not at home, he is probably out on the golf course, beating Matt, Chad and Don senseless. He is probably best known for having cadaver-white feet. He is excited about the prospect of someday being called “Dr. Payne.”

Chad Bullock, PT, DPT

Editor

I am originally from Cookeville, TN. If you don’t know where that is, don’t worry, nobody else does either. I earned my bachelors in Business Administration from Tennessee Technological University. Don’t hate all you kinesiology majors. I just finished my DPT at Tennessee State University.

I am married and have one awesome little boy. I also enjoy playing golf with the rest of these jokers, but I’m not going to lie… I’m pretty terrible. Let’s just say a successful day on the course is when I lose less than 5 balls… on the front nine.

Jenny Scollard, PT, DPT

Editor extraordinaire

She will eventually fill this in… maybe… if you ask nicely!

Matthew Corn, PT, DPT

Editor

Matthew is originally from Asheville, North Carolina. He finished his undergraduate work at Liberty University with a BS degree in Exercise Science/fitness programming.

He is a former firefighter and EMT with Asheville Fire and Rescue. He then randomly decided to pursue a dream he has had since finishing undergrad in 2001 which was to pursue a Doctorate in Physical Therapy. He is married and living in TN where he just graduated with his DPT from Tennessee State University.

He is best known for working just about every side job you can imagine. You name the job and he probably has a story about it.
