Here in our program, we were required to to a research project involving a literature of 100s of articles. Many people go about finding articles in different ways, but I just wanted to share a way that I found to be both simple and effective:
1. Go to your schools homepage.
2. Find the Library’s page.
3. On the library page, there should be a link to search Databases either by subject or title. Click that link. This should take you to a list of all the available databases your school has access to.
4.Choose your Database Searching Tool. I like EBSCOhost-it contains various journals, etc. related to what we do.
5. Select whichever Database suits you. I usually just select all.
6.From there, enter your key words into the search bar. If you neet to be more specific, use the advanced search function.
7.Once you have searched and you have your results, you can further filter your results(on the right hand side of the page in EBSCOhost) by date, full text, references available and peer-reviewed sources.
8.Sort through the results, and find the article(s) that best suit your topic!
Good Luck!
